A legendary love affair collides with ambition, politics, and the fate of an empire.

In Antony & Cleopatra, William Shakespeare transforms one of history’s most famous romances into a sweeping tragedy of passion, power, and sacrifice. Set against the final years of the Roman Republic, the play follows the tumultuous relationship between Mark Antony, one of Rome’s greatest generals, and Cleopatra, the captivating queen of Egypt. Torn between duty to Rome and his consuming love for Cleopatra, Antony finds himself caught between two worlds as political alliances crumble and the forces of Octavian rise against him. With its rich poetry, unforgettable characters, and exploration of honor, desire, and mortality, Antony & Cleopatra remains one of Shakespeare’s most profound examinations of love and the price of greatness.
