Refund policy
At Casa Carlini, we take pride in the quality of our publications. Because many of our books are printed to order and wholesale discounts are extended on the understanding of final sale, the following policy applies:
Retail Orders
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
This policy applies to eligible retail purchases, including books, apparel, and accessories. Items that have been used, worn, damaged after delivery, or altered from their original condition may not be accepted for return.
To start a return, please contact us at support@casacarlini.com. Please note that returns must be authorized before being sent. Items sent back without first requesting approval will not be accepted.
If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
Wholesale Orders
All wholesale purchases are considered final sale. Books purchased at wholesale pricing are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Wholesale discounts are provided based on the understanding that orders are placed for resale and represent a final commitment. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for wholesale book purchases due to over-ordering, changes in demand, unsold inventory, customer cancellations, or other business decisions.
At Casa Carlini's sole discretion, a credit toward a future wholesale order may be issued as a courtesy. Such credits are not guaranteed, are not redeemable for cash, and may only be applied to future purchases from Casa Carlini.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For retail orders, approved claims may be resolved through a replacement, exchange, refund, or other appropriate remedy.
For wholesale orders, if books arrive damaged or an error was made in fulfillment, please notify us within 30 days of delivery and provide photographs of the affected items. Casa Carlini will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement of damaged or incorrect books or a credit toward a future wholesale order.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products, special orders, personalized items, and other products that cannot be resold in their original condition.
We also do not accept returns for:
- Wholesale book orders.
- Sale items.
- Gift cards.
- Books or merchandise damaged after delivery due to customer handling or use.
Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to return an eligible retail purchase and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.
Wholesale orders are not eligible for exchanges or returns.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
This right does not apply to business-to-business wholesale transactions where exemptions apply under applicable law.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that wholesale book purchases are not eligible for refunds. Any remedy provided for wholesale orders will be limited to replacement of damaged or incorrectly shipped items or, at Casa Carlini's discretion, a credit toward future wholesale purchases.
